What is 247?
247 is a peer group reporting package designed to compliment Randox control sera that enables laboratories to monitor analytical performance (internal quality control) and compare directly with thousands of laboratories worldwide (peer group reporting).

What do I need to get started?
The basic requirements for using 247 are as follows:
1. PC
2. Internet connection
3. 247 sera
4. 247 license

How do I obtain 247 software?
247 software is available to all Randox control sera customers in CD format. The CD is placed directly onto a CD drive and downloaded onto a PC hard drive via an autorun facility. The CD is dispatched complete with a brief introduction to the software and instructions for use. The CD will run the 247 for a trial period of 60 days, after this time the software will expire. To reactivate the software users must register at www.randox.com/247 . They will then receive registration details that should be entered into the software under the configuration/registration menu.
To receive regular software updates, users must submit a request via the website. This is a service for the customer and requires payment of a license fee.

How do I use 247 for peer group reporting?
The 247 CD contains the system software that can be downloaded and used for internal quality control. The system also offers the facility of peer group reporting, enabling laboratories to upload laboratory data to the 247 computer at Randox headquarters and then download peer group values generated from thousands of laboratories worldwide. The peer group facility requires the user to have a valid 247 Peer Group license.

What is a 247 Peer Group license and how can I obtain a license?
The 247 license is issued by Randox Laboratories and renewed on an annual basis. Each license holder is issued with a unique user number that activates the 247 account and enables data transfer. Licenses can be obtained by contacting your Randox representative or fill in the form below and send to Randox headquarters.

How do I transfer data to the 247 server?
Information can be transferred to the 247 server at the touch of a button. The software package has a menu option that enables data transfer at the touch of a button.

How often is peer group data updated?
Peer group data is updated on a daily basis, offering the user the latest performance data for their instrument.

What about data confidentiality?
Randox utilise complex encryption procedures to ensure confidentiality of data on transfer and unauthorised access to performance data.

Can I use the peer group facility without an Internet connection?
