RX daytona
The RX daytona is a compact fully automated benchtop clinical chemistry analyser ideal for use in small to medium throughput laboratories. RX daytona +
The RX daytona plus is a fully automated, random access, benchtop analyser. Its comprehensive and flexible test menu allows the consolidation of a wide range of routine and esoteric tests including routinely run chemistries, specific proteins, veterinary tests, therapeutic drugs and drugs of abuse on one easy to use platform.
RX imola
The RX imola is capable of handling the workload of a medium throughput laboratory with a combined throughput of 540 tests per hour with integrated ISE unit for sodium, potassium and chloride. A bench top fully automated system with random access, the RX imola provides rapid, comprehensive testing on a small footprint analyzer. RX suzuka
As the largest and latest addition to the RX series, the RX suzuka is a fully automated, discrete random access clinical analyzer capable of running up to 1200 tests per hour including ISEs. The RX suzuka enables real cost savings to be realized with economic reagent handling maximizing tests per kit. Flexibility is guaranteed with 10 STAT sample positions allowing emergency samples to be analyzed quickly at any time.

H-FABP Automated Assay
Automated immunoturbidimetric (IT) assay for the rapid determination of the highly sensitive & specific biomarker of myocardial ischemia, Heart-Type Fatty Acid Binding Protein (H-FABP). The fully automated assay is suitable for use on a wide range of clinical chemistry instruments, with results obtained in 14 minutes using serum or plasma.
- H-FABP is detectable within 30 minutes of an ischemic episode, peaks at 6-8 hours and returns to baseline within 24 hours.
- H-FABP has been shown to be an independent predictor of long-term mortality in Troponin negative patients, even when a “highly sensitive” Troponin assay is used.
- H-FABP could enable ER & Cardiology physicians to identify a very high risk group of patients who warrant further investigation
TxB Cardio™ Automated Assay
Automated assay for the urinary assessment of Aspirin “resistance” or “non-responsiveness”. This new immunoturbidimetric assay enables the quantitative determination of the highly stable metabolite of thromboxane, 11dhTxB2, and can be used on a wide range of clinical chemistry instruments.
- Patients with high levels of 11dhTxB2 can be deemed as “aspirin non-responsive”, and such patients have been shown to be at 3.5-fold increased risk of cardiovascular death.
- TxB Cardio is a urinary test, so is non-invasive & easy to collect & store
- New automated IT assay enables testing in any clinical chemistry laboratory, without the need for specialized equipment, software or training.
Lipid Profile
The lipid profile is an excellent tool, when used in conjunction with other risk factors, for assessing a person’s risk of cardiovascular disease. The Randox lipid profile is comprehensive and reliable and includes the following tests; total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, sLDL cholesterol, apolipoproteins A-I, A-II, B, C-II, C-III and E. We also offer an Lp(a) test which is a major independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
