Multi-analyte controls and calibrators
Randox offers multi-analyte controls and calibrators as opposed to only single analyte calibrators and controls. This makes them more convenient in terms of consolidation being possible and may prove more cost effective as separate products do not need to be ordered
Liquid ready-to-use reagents
The Randox Acetaminophen reagent comes in a liquid format which is more convenient, and can also help reduce the risk of errors occurring

What is the Acetaminophen assay used for?
Acetaminophen is more commonly known as paracetamol. It is frequently used as a pain-reliever, and at therapeutic levels does not normally produce any adverse effects. However, long-term treatment and prolonged use of acetaminophen can cause liver and kidney damage. If an overdose occurs it can lead to hepatic failure if left untreated.
The Acetaminophen assay is used to determine if an overdose has taken place; to assess the risk of damage to the patient; and to evaluate the type of treatment required.
