Certain therapeutic drugs have a long half life, which means that they can stay in the patient's circulation for a long time and accumulate to toxic levels, especially in renally compromised patients. Other drugs have a narrow range between therapeutic and adverse effects. On the other hand patient non-compliance can lead to levels below the therapeutic range, which is as undesirable.

Therapeutic drug kits from Randox are available as ready to use liquid reagents for approximately 100 tests per kit. The kits offer excellent performance with automated applications for a range of analysers. Kits are available in barcoded packaging for the Rx Daytona. Correlations show over 99% agreement with competitor methods.
