Fibrinogen levels decrease in Hypofibrinogenemia, Afibrinogenemia, Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC), Liver diseases, Viral hepatitis and Fibrinogenolysis.
Increased Fibrinogen concentration is seen in Chronic inflammatory illness, malignancy, Surgery, Trauma, Cardiovascular disorders.
