The Role/An Ról:

The successful candidates will play a key role in a fast developing engineering design team and be involved in the research and development of advanced diagnostic and analytical equipment.
Provide support and proficiency in the management of outside vendors and assist, where appropriate, in the design of machines for long-term production, ease of maintenance and operation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
• Compile requirements for machine specifications.
• Work on the development and debugging of equipment.
• Work with outside vendors to ensure compliance with developed machine specifications and schedules.
• Carry out the commissioning and validation of new or modified production lines.

The Candidate/ An t-iarrthóir:

The successful candidate must possess:

• Educated to honours degree/diploma level in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Machine controls programming and power distribution design experience - PLC, HMIs, Servos, Robotics, etc.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and to integrate into a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
