Randox is delighted to be part of the Science Summer School in conjunction with Mid & East Antrim Borough Council.
The aim of the project is to inspire young people to become the next generation of scientists through a programme that mixes the best of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) in a series of seminars, discussions and hands-on experiments.
The Summer Science School was founded in 2012 by by Lord Andrew Mawson OBE and Professor Brian Cox CBE. This year’s event will be the first time the Summer Science School has been hosted in Northern Ireland.
The event will bring together world-leading STEAM academic and industry leaders to inspire and activate the curiosity of the 400 student attendees from across NI, in autumn 2022.

Speakers attending represent industry leaders across the STEAM subjects. As a global leader with over 40 years experience within the in vitro diagnostics industry, Randox is thrilled to be able to inspire young scientists within our local community.
The Summer Science School will also provide an opportunity to highlight the career pathways and opportunities available in Randox, which include higher level apprenticeships, placements together with a multitude of graduate and full time roles.
