The Townland Boxing Club in Glenavy was founded in 2008 by a group of dedicated people interested in the sport of boxing and improving youth facilities in the area. The amateur boxing club, which is a completely voluntary organisation, was opened with a purpose to give young people in the area a place to meet, form friendships, learn the discipline, respect and skill required to become an amateur boxer, and of course look after their health and wellbeing.
Townland coaches are dedicated to helping kids learn the sport and keep fit and to offering kids a safe place to train and be part of a team. Classes at The Townland Boxing club are available for kids from 7 and up, and the club also offers adult Keep Fit classes. For more information you can message the Townland Boxing Club facebook page or contact the Club Secretary on 07707012809.
Randox will be fundraising for Townland Boxing Club through a range of events and initiatives throughout the year, including individual staff fundraising activities, our annual staff fun day, Randox Fest, and our popular Christmas Raffle.
