We Are Randox
As an international company with headquarters in the beautiful NI countryside, we appreciate the serenity and natural beauty of our local surroundings, but the setting isn’t the only thing we love! Our talented employees from all over the world ensure Randox remains a growing and innovative company, and we feel lucky to have the support of such an impressive bunch of people. Fantastic at what they do in their professions, they help us to achieve our goal of improving health worldwide.
Not only that, our employees also achieve great things in their personal lives; through their own initiatives and ambitions our employees have seen and done some amazing things, and are always impressing us with the interesting and inspiring things they do in their spare time. This is something we want to celebrate, and so we have decided to share some of their stories…
You can read some of our employees’ stories below or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and follow the hashtag #WeAreRandox…
Our employees help us to give back!
From a small company in 1982, to a large global organisation with over 1400 employees, we are appreciative of the support we have received, and our employees are too! As such, we aim to give back to our local and wider community, and do this by hosting a variety of annual events, sponsoring some amazing organisations and fundraising for local charities.
Randox charity fundraising events are a common occurrence at our headquarters in Crumlin, Northern Ireland.
Our employees are the driving force and we love to support them in their fundraising efforts which include bun sales (aren’t we lucky!), coffee mornings and quirkier events such as dress up days. Some of the great charities we have supported include The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support and The Stroke Association. Not forgetting our official charity, the Princes Trust, to whom we provide long–term support to ensure they can continue transforming the lives of youths by helping them get into jobs, education and training.
Aside from our charity fundraising efforts, we get work with some fantastic organisations, and give back while doing it! Our sponsorship of Camerata Ireland & Barry Douglas allows us to express our pride in music and the arts. A chamber orchestra founded by pianist Barry Douglas, Camerata Ireland perform all over the world, and we are lucky enough to enjoy this experience with them!
In addition to Camerata Ireland and Barry Douglas, we also sponsor the Wild Atlantic Adventure Race (WAAR) in Donegal Ireland. WAAR is a race consisting of a 7.5K Run, 42.5K Cycle, 2K Hike & 1K Kayak, and is a fundraising event for the Naomh Muire GAA club who aim to promote positive health and wellbeing in the Donegal community. The event was launched by Nikki Bradley, a public speaker whose life challenges have led to her desire to encourage others to unlock their potential!
Proud to sponsor this event, our Randox Teoranta employees in Donegal love to partake in the race…
And finally, our annual events give us a chance to get to know our supporters and this is something we really enjoy! Starting with our annual Farmer’s breakfast at Randox HQ, we are given the opportunity to not only spend time with those in our local rural community, but to also host a delicious breakfast for them to enjoy.
Our local annual Point to Point event is also a great chance for us to get to know the wonderful people in our wider community; travelling in from far and wide our guests enjoy a ‘day at the races’ with additional family fun entertainment.
Additionally, our huge Polo event in Scotland allows us to extend our reach, and we get to meet supporters from all over the world! (Lucky for us our guests fly in from around the globe, allowing us to enjoy their company!)
